Our Story So Far
We might have held a Michelin Star for almost 14 years, but drinking and dining at The Cross is far from stuffy. We have recently re-evaluated our offering and have some exciting new ideas which we’ll be implementing in the coming weeks.
Set in the traditional pub in the beautiful, historic town of Kenilworth, The Cross serves elevated pub classics and dishes inspired by international cuisines and flavours, gained from our own travels and culinary experiences.
Our set menus are among the most affordable Michelin-starred meals in the UK, starting from £37.50 for two courses and £45 for three courses.
Enjoy a pint or cocktail in our cosy bar, before being taken to your table by our friendly and knowledgeable team.
At The Cross, service is warm, friendly and professional. Our job is to give you a relaxing culinary experience from the moment you walk through our door, until the time you have to leave.
What Makes Us Tick....
We believe that provenance is king. Our chefs source the best quality ingredients - where possible we source locally.
Our friends at Mill Piece Gardens provide us with beautiful produce grown especially for us from spring to autumn, our famous sourdough bread is made to our carefully developed recipe. Our meat is sourced by the chef’s favourite - award-winning butchers Warwickshire’s own Aubrey Allen - who also supply the Royal Household.
In summer, we open up our sunny terrace, where our guests can enjoy the warm rays with a pint, a cocktail, or a glass of something bubbly. We also have plenty of alcohol-free options to chose from.
Following feedback and plenty of tastings and research, we recently transformed our wine list to offer many more accessible options. We are proud to offer something for all tastes. Our competitively priced house wines are sourced from a Burgundy vineyard, Georges Duboeuf.
As an informal, accessible pub, we aim to suit all members of our local community and beyond.
We go the extra mile to source and serve the best produce available, cooked using classic techniques and with inspiration taken from our vast repertoire gained from years working in the finest kitchens, both here and abroad.
Each ingredient is cooked with passion, precision and craftsmanship and served with a friendly smile from our front of house team.
